Another amazing podcast guys! You made a nasty Monday into a really good one. I wish the DIsney Gallery was still back over Pirates, I can't honestly see
it anywhere else! I have only eaten at Storyteiilers Cafe, so I can't make comments about other character breakfasts. I didn't even know that there was
one in Paradise Pier hotel! The only few pieces of Disney music that my concert band in High school ever played was the opening from the Incredibles (amazing
fun) and then later an arrangement of The Nightmare Before Christmas (i got to play a solo part but the piece was horrible compared to the original!) and wow,
poor Kristen. I would have hung up too because I wouldn't know what to do! And great job on the vow renewal. Since pirates is now off the list, I thought
that any of the Disney Mounains would be hard to do, let alone peter pan or a doom buggie simply for lack of space in the vehicle. Alice or snow white would be
fine, but I could see you screaming the words on the Matterhorn. Question for Kristen: Do you only do vow renewals, or could you do an actual wedding kind of
thing.
THanks again guys! |

Gamertara wrote:I am legally allowed to do both - so bring on the marriages and renewals! Renewing Henry and Brenda's vows seriously is one of my best Disneyland moments ever, which is saying a lot! So, if you're planning on getting married or renewed in the park, you know who to call:) |

Woo! can i book kristen to do my wedding on the haunted mansion?! My fiance and i have always wanted to have our wedding there. Mind you it might not be for
several years lol.
One time my fiance was on the phone with AT&T and absent mindedly started singing while he was supposedly on hold. I got in a good laugh before pointing it out to him that the lady on the other end might be able to hear him. We weren't sure if she was listening but he said it sounded like she was holding back a laugh when she came back. |

Von Baroketch wrote:I had Dr. Greenburg for a couple of classes when I was at the SF Conservatory - he was a great teacher who gave the hardest tests in the whole world. For a Music History class I took from him - there were no papers or anything, just the midterm and final - with killer listening questions/kind of a drop the needle but on a C.D. thing plus these huge essay questions. MANY sleepless nights were spent and tears were shed preparing for his exams. Awesome teacher with a ruthless sense of test giving. Glad to hear you've heard him speak - on NPR or with the SF Symphony or somewhere else? As far as catching the SF symphony - I would just say wait until MTT is conducting. While they're always awesome, I think its extra special with MTT holding the baton. May I suggest coming to SF during a weekend the Disney family museum is doing a special something? Really make the most out of your trip! I will reserve Splash Mountain for you and your future wife. Maybe don't tell her about this until after you're married ;) |

I love it when you guys make reference to other funny moments from the show. Doomeddarling, Fiancé, and Mousetalgia Kristen: Thrice per Doombuggy. Now, I just
really want to hear the story about how Kristen became an ordained accordion-playing music-major Disneyland pastor. Kristen, you should write an autobiography!
By the way, you guys forgot to add in the Awkward Disney Moments theme song before Kristen's story of epic Disney Gallery awkwardness.
This was a good episode. The Emporiums are nice every once in a while. |

Nice story about Henry and Brenda. I actually sat next to Henry during the Mousetalgia Meet POTC Ride back on September 11th. Who knew that his next voyage
would be so memorable (well maybe Henry knew, or maybe he was concocting the idea back then).

I smiled throughout this whole podcast, such a great episode!
It's nice to see Mousetalgia getting recognized more and more, must be Kristen's pens. Dave I gotta say your site must be a major labor of love, great job <3 So I went on Haunted Mansion Holiday and because people kept getting out of their seats and the ride kept stopping there was a major jam in the corridor and into the elevator. So this CM comes by and she's all 'Three per sleigh!' 'Three per sleigh!' and I just started laughing my butt off and I looked at her and shook my head and pointed to my butt. It was one of those moments where you just know you made one of those straight faced HMCM's laugh. We just did two per sleigh to avoid any technical difficulties that may have resulted if the lapbar had to come down on three of us. Lovely story about Henry and Brenda, gives me hope that my own 'flash wedding' in DL will go smoothly. As for yummy food...hmm I picked up some Red Velvet Madeline's at the French Market (because I wanted the little plastic coffin they came in XD) but those cookies were delicious! Went wonderfully with some milk while waiting for Fantasmic. Anyway Great episode, keep up the great work mousetalgia crew! |

Mousetalgia Kristen wrote:With this much preparation, I'll make sure our first date will be me cooking dinner (fried chicken or bbq ribs, with fried okra and sweet tea, followed by pecan pie, perhaps?) and then a viewing of my bootleg Song of the South. That way, it would be too perfect when I call on your services! Of course, this just means every girl I date from now on will have the same first date. As for Dr. Greenburg, I heard one of his lectures on cd from the Great Courses company. He was so interesting, I ordered a bunch of his biographical lectures. I hear his lectures on opera are really good, too. I wouldn't dare miss MTT at my first San Francisco Symphony performance. What music student didn't grow up watching MTT, Goodall, and Bernstein videos? I can't wait! |

over the Blue Van Lady hehehe , Nightmare b4 xmas product signing, getting my first pair of mouse ears (yes i know , what took so long?), Haunted Mansion
Holiday, Ghost Galaxy, Omni Bus, The Halloween Fireworks, to getting stuck and walking off the Indiana Jones Ride. So many amazing things!!! So many first

Thank you Kristen for making this trip extra special with a Mousetalgia Pen, standing in line for the Nightmare b4 x mas product release (Blue Van Lady) and riding with Andy and I on The Haunted Mansion :) Cheers!!
