I've been backtracking all the podcasts on the site and i was listening to this epidsode while i was grocery shopping and i totally laughed out loud in the middle of the store! I got a couple strange looks and i noticed some little old ladies shuffle away from me in a hurry like i was nuts. That aside i just thought of a couple cool facts to add on to the film memorabilia in the disney family museum.

I can't remember if it was kristen or becky who menioned the audio display. On film audio is extremely hard to sync because on all film projectors the audio reading head is 24 frames ahead of the projection bulb. So not only did the musicians and actors have to match the timing of the film frame, the editor had to perfectly sync the audio 24 frames ahead of the visuals and combine the music and voices into one strip along the side of the film.

They most likely used a cine scope to view and cut all the film which was usually in 35mm or in the case of sleeping beauty 75mm.

All in all I can't wait to see the museum! I've always loved the art of old disney and it's one of the reasons i went to art school and took film.
