Due to a stroke of good luck, I have received some buddy passes for JetBlue. My wife and I immediately thought of high tailing it to California for a long
weekend of R and R. When California came up, my mind went straight to Disneyland. :) Now I know that it is a weekend, even worse, I know it is a holiday
weekend. Would I be stupid to buy tickets for that Saturday? (I'm sure I'll hit all of the rides I want to go on, because I go from open to close, but
I don't want to wait forever in lines.)

With any holiday, I think it depends on whether or not Disney has planned properly. If they run fully staffed and at full capacity, you should be OK. It seems
like they sometimes greatly misjudge how many people will show up on a given day/week/weekend.
I am sure it will be busy in the park, but if they are prepared the lines shouldn't be too bad. If you end up going, make sure to let us know how it went! |

We have gone the day right after labor day weekend and the park was eerily empty, we walked into new orleans or frontierland and had our footsteps echoing at
10-11am. I'm sure the actual holiday it's quite full, and I've noticed that on some days that were previously empty people take advantage of having
their free entry for their birthdays and head to the park so it's just been a bit more crowded in general.
Dave is right though even on busy days if everything is running full capacity it should be okay. |
