I was recently looking over the reviews for Mousetalgia (it was late, I was bored) and I saw a few people complain about the lack of park news. I was surprised by these criticisms because this lack of news was a great selling point for me. As a rule, I have always cut off my park info immediately before going to the park. I always wanted to save some surprises for when I got to the Land. After a negative run in at the park during Fantasmic with one of the chief members of one of the "big" Disney fan sites (he wouldn't stop commenting on each part of Fantasmic during the show, it killed the performance) I decided to cut off all info. It has really enhanced my experiences in the park, as I was genuinely excited about each new experience. So now I skip the photo reports and rely on Mousetalgia to give me just enough info to get excited.
Am I crazy, or do other people think that the plethora of highly detailed updates kind of suck the surprise of seeing all the changes?
