One of Disneyland's worst kept secrets is the upcoming Haunted Mansion 40th anniversary event to be held next year (I'm guessing in August) at
Disneyland Park. We're starting to discuss it over at the DoomBuggies.com forums, and some of the artists are slowly starting to come out of the woodwork.
From unconfirmed reports, it appears that Shag will be doing some limited edition stuff, as will Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily (who had such success with their
line of Haunted Mansion collectibles for the Disneyland's 50th celebration last year.) There might also be a run of limited edition latex masks of the
Hitchhiking Ghosts. I'll try to keep this thread updated if I learn more.

I've canceled all other vacation plans for the next year so I can save up and be sure to make the 40th anniversary! I can't wait! It'll be the
first time I've seen the Mansion without the HMH Overlay in about 6 years. I do hope it is more than just a pin selling event. I haven't been to a
Disney anniversary before so I don't really know what to expect and there a lot of rumors flying around about this.

Gosh I'd love to be part of that but my visits are usually later in the year. I will look out for merchandise though which I imagine they will sell all
year.
