Hey all! Earlier this year my friends and I ordered some Disney pins from a lot on Ebay. Now, I know all about the risks of buying those lots, so that's not really the information I'm looking for here (unless you absolutely believe that's the answer to my question!). :)

So I ended up with this pin, that I'll post a picture of below, and really, I can't figure it out.... I've searched for information about it pretty extensively online and haven't come...

Toy Story Toys

So I don't own much in the way of Disney stuff, but I went to the store yesterday looking to buy the "Movie Size" Woody (or whatever the official name is). How cool would it be, anytime I felt like it, to pull Woody's string and hear "Someone poisoned the water hole!" and "There's a snake in my boot!"

I stood there for five minutes in the store pulling the string and hearing phrase after phrase after phrase...and never once did Woody say...

New Haunted Mansion Soundtrack

Has anyone heard/purchased the The Story and Song from the Haunted Mansion CD? I am interested in purchasing it, but wanted to know if it was worth the money. I also didn't know if it was aimed toward a younger audience. I think that this is the same record that was mentioned in other podcasts, but I could be wrong.

I have collected many of the annual Disneyland guidebooks. I still haven't got one from 1963 but will persevere! It's a shame they don't make the more affordable soft cover versions anymore.

I got this as a baby, although it's older than I am! I've always treasured it's friendly simplicity, and keep her on the bookshelf since she reminds me of the beginning to the Pooh stories that Disney showed way back on Sunday nights.

Nothing like a link to your childhood to help you hold on to it!

D23 Disneyland '59 Patch

Included with the Fall issue of D23, is one of six patches commemorating the Disneyland expansion of 1959. Just curious which patch other D23 members received.

I received the "Disneyland-Alweg Monroail", that's right "Monroail", the patch is misspelled.

Haunted Mansion 40th anniversary merchandise

One of Disneyland's worst kept secrets is the upcoming Haunted Mansion 40th anniversary event to be held next year (I'm guessing in August) at Disneyland Park. We're starting to discuss it over at the DoomBuggies.com forums, and some of the artists are slowly starting to come out of the woodwork. I'm pretty sure I can't whittle it down to just one, but this is among my favorites: an autographed 8x10 from the earliest days of the Mickey Mouse Club, signed by many of the children that were on the show at the time (including Bobby, Lynn, Sharon, Lonnie, Cubby, Karen, Doreen, Annette, and Cheryl.) It's pretty beat up, but that just adds to the charm in my opinion.

A couple of my most prized items are 2 books (one from Pirate and one from it's a small world) the are pictorial accounts of the rides themselves.
