Ok i heard this on episode 51, and i'm here to tell about the ending! It's similar to disneyland where it kind of ends abruptly in a sort of
'morning after' kind of way but there are two scenes that aren't in the disneyland one, one where the prince kisses her and the other scene is them
riding off into the distance to live happily ever after. I've only been on the disneyland one once but i only remember a painting.
here's a ride through to jog some memories...

I'm thinking that one of the rides I really wish I could have seen was Eastern Airlines' If You Had Wings in the Magic Kingdom. It was my mom's
favorite attraction from when she first visited the world in the 70s'. In fact, when we rode Grand Fiesta Tour with the Three Caballeros in Epcot a few
weeks ago, she immediately said "This is just like that old Eastern Airlines ride!"

It sounds like a great attraction. Free, as in no ticket needed. Air-conditioned....

Thanks to Lou Mongello's WDW trivia calendar, I spent a few moments today recalling the worthy protesting efforts of some J. Thaddeus (and a few Rapunzel)
devotees during the year leading up to the demise of our beloved attraction. I dug up this picture, which includes a much younger me at the age of 16 on that
last day, September 7, 1998. I still have the shirt! Motormania is not a crime; you are missed, Mr. Toad.

It finally leaked! The very BIG news of the WDW Magic Kingdom Fantasyland referb! WDW's Fantasyland will now feature the Little Mermaid attraction (a
duplicate of DL's), TWO Dumbo's (which was really needed), Pixie Hollow, Some type of Beauty and the beast restaurant, new facades, and WAYY too many
meet and greets. The only thing that deeply saddens me (other that the meet and greets) is that they are not adding a Phinnico (I know it's spelt wrong)
and Alice attraction. But...

Hi everyone,
Well, the plans are set, the reservations are made, and Now, I wait...... till July :( jk. I am so Happy i am able to go this year (long story short we are
with the DVC and we borrowed this years points to use last year, leaving us with only 87 points [Which is not much]. We were planning on banking them for next

I have a question that I need a more experienced Disney World visitor to answer.

I have a very early and distinct memory (1980/81) regarding a small restaurant or snack bar in which there was a talking head mounted on the wall. Now, I'm
aware of the three talking animal heads at the Mile Long...

weren't looking so hot either.

The Hall of Presidents shuts in November, not quite sure when it comes back up. How long does it usually take to install a president? I hope they can get
Blaine Gibson to come back in. I'll watch the election, just to see who gets to be an AA. <img...

Ok, I love the podcast - it's by far my favorite. I listen to it when I walk the dogs or go walking around my neighbrhood. One thing I've noticed it a
thinly veiled tendency to "look down" onWDW! Ok, so Walt never walked around the Magic Kingdom; and granted, his successors blew it as far as
carrying out his vision for an EPCOT. But WDW has so much more to offer and with the WDW resorts, not only are they top-shelf, but when you stay at one,
you't have to leave the magic...

Anyone traveling to Walt Disney World in October? There is a three digit code posted on Disney's own webite. It is known as a General Public code. My
daughter and I used it and it took over $200 off our vacation price. Which of course, we promptly spent by upgrading our dining to the deluxe dining. So the
mouse still got the original amount I was going to spend. Oh well. Anyway the codes are: QXG = Discount off Magic Your Way package, QXD = Discount of Dining
package, UVL = Discount off...

For those of you familiar with both Disneyland's and Walt Disney World's Space Mountains, I'm curious as to which you prefer - the narrow,
bobsled-style cars of WDW, or side-by-side seating at DL? For me, the recent rehab at DL of the attraction's effects put it over the top, but I'm not
sure which I prefer in terms of the ride experience itself. Any thoughts?

If you caught the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter (pre-Stitch) for the brief time it was in Tomorrowland, what did you think of it? I loved it - and still
thought it was incredible tough for a Disney attraction. Don't get me wrong - I understand the drama that's necessary for an intellgent attraction, and
I know that Disney attractions often deal with death and/or evil. But the scene where the alien seemed to capture a victim right above you and attack him,
splattering you with...
